Why a blog?
I built this blog stack more than a year ago, and never had a chance to get into it. It took me a while to get to the habit of writing by having a chain of thoughts in my day to day life. Initially I wanted to write in my social media accounts but then I started to detaching myself from almost every social media. Ironically, I think I was one of the few people that joined MySpace, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn in the advent of those platforms, however, they lost the meaning to me with the passage of time.
With time, I noticed that I need a more personal platform, or blog which I can write down
my thoughts, share them online and then if I want to, share them on any platform I want
without having fears of being attacked, removed, tracked, advertised or any other ***ed.
I have to confess that the primary intention of buying the sonicode domain was not to have
blog posts, rather I was planning to write down my coding experience and apply some knowledge
sharing (which in fact this is still the case).
A few days ago, I was reading one of Spencer's articles, and I thought to myself, if I could write only a blog post, once a week, then I would have 52 posts by the end of the next year. Meaning that I can reduce my screen time by an hour and do something more productive and meaningful. So, I decided to let it go.
Here, I am not spinning up anything fancy, the blog is using simple md files, and
I used docusarurs stack as the content provider. Also, since
I want to focus on my writing, I will be delegating most of the development to
AI and I will take care of content. This way I can enjoy writing more and less be worried
about technology!
Thanks!
